F Ewe Sheep Company has been the lifelong dream of our owner, Frankie Arburua III, since he was a boy. He grew up working with his family on their sheep operation as far back as he can remember. Frankie dreamed of the day he could begin his own herd and work to improve all aspects of the industry from genetics to nutrition and husbandry. Even after a college education and 5 years working in banking, he was drawn back to what he has always loved, being with his sheep. He is a fourth generation Basque sheep rancher, so one could say he was destined to raise sheep. "There's nothing in this world I'd rather be doing than being a sheepman. The animals are great, and the fulfillment I feel from this career is exceptional", he says. This dream required patience and years of work to build capital to launch, but every step of the journey will serve as a cherished memory.
